0 Replies and 1544 Views OMAP-L138 Power Management support  1544  0 Started by  pgriep We are using the LogicPD OMAP-L138 EVM Development kit for a new project. One of the primary requirement for this project is to be able to put the system to deep sleep mode. I have done some research through the TI support websites and determined that using the current Linux PSP (linux-2.6.33-rc4-psp03.20.00.13) I can put the system to sleep using the command rtcwake or configure the scaling governor to "powersave" mode. 6 Replies and 1605 Views New L138 experimenter user needing help  1605  6 Started by  jheoaustin Hi, I'd like to just do a sanity check on this board, and make sure that I don't have to return the board. Hopefully I ask questions in a right way to get answers. 1. Typing the boot command at U-boot without parameters doesn't work. At a TI training video using an L138 board, it is said that 'boot' should boot linux kernel as there is a preloaded image on the SPI1 flash. Am I right to expect that the linux would boot without a problem on an out-of-box L138 experimenter kit 2. I happened ...

0 Replies and 1513 Views OMAP-L138 DAC sampling frequency  1513  0 Started by  Deleted User I am using the OMAP-L138 EVM development kit and trying to evaluate the DAC/ADC feature of the User interface board. From the TI literature SPRUGJ5B, the sampling clock is fixed at 150/(2upicr.clkdiv 1). The slowest sampling frequency is 4.69 Mhz. Is there any way that I can lower the clock down to may be a 1Mhz Thanks, Kevin

I have tried several SD cards in the SD slot of the but the program acts as if there is nothing there. Is there a setting I need to change to use the MMC/SD slot on the OMAP-L138 EVM

3 Replies and 1530 Views HELP! Connecting dev kit via USB on 64-bit XP  1530  3 Started by  chandler.neal I'm trying to connect the device to my PC via USB for CCStudio. When I plug it in, it is recognized, but I am unable to install drivers. I assume this is because I am on 64-bit. Is there a solution for this (or 64-bit drivers) Thanks

1 Replies and 1625 Views cvideo evm test example  1625  1 Started by  dblockil I have the cvideo example working on my EVM. Now what I am trying to do is convert the YCbCr format to RGB. I think I understand how the data is stored in DDR Ram, at least I am able to produce a good BW image plot in CCS 3.3 image graphic view. My assumption is that Y0,Y2,Y4 etc is store in LUM_TOP buffer, Y1,Y3,Y5 etc is stored in LUM_BOTTOM buffer. CHROM_BOT and CHROM_BOTTOM I think are what have me confused. Is Cb stored in CHROM_TOP and Cr stored in CHROM_BOTTOM What is the formula t...
