Wireless driver wlcore crashing 2900 8
Started by Joshua Pagnotta
We periodically get a wlcore hardware recovery restart which is causing issues in our devices that we haven't been able to track down what is causing it. Do you have any knowledge as to what the cause of this crash may be It seems like its in the backports of the wlcore module.

GPS Issue 1440 2
Started by Mark Gregory
I made a program based on the GPS demo which acquired lat/long/alt ..... and worked fine the other day. However, I was trying to test a few SD cards by trial and error to see if any where 1.8V cards so I could use another SD card. GPSdemo runs and looks like it is seeing up to 6 satellites and is generating NEMA data but it says that the GPS status is unknown and doesnt give lat/long/alt... data. Could trying to use the 1.8V SD card slot damage the GPS functionality on the SOM

Linux 3.14 and Device-Tree for DM3730 Torpedo Wireless SOM 21624 66
Started by Derald Woods
Is there an experimental branch of code for LogicPD's Linux BSP stack which supports newer kernels and device-tree We just need a valid starting point, if it exists, before going down the path of 'rolling our own'. We have a custom SDK based on the LogicPD 2.4-x Linux BSP patch series. The age is becoming a factor with various libraries, tools, and device drivers. New hardware support tends to appear in newer kernel versions. It would be helpful, if a Git repository or patch set...

Is it possible to place the debug console (both uboot and kernel) on the USB OTG port The 2.4-4 BSP manual for the DM3730 Wireless SOM describes how to switch to a different UART but not how to use USB.

hostid returns 00000000 1506 1

Is there a command I can use to get a unique identifier for the torpedo board When I run hostid it returns zero. I have seen Linux suggestions to use the MAC address of eth0, but that is not enabled on the board we are using. Is there some alternate way to do this or some way to make hostid work

Upgrade gcc to support C 11 or later 1694 4
Started by Joshua Pagnotta
We have code we need to compile and run in our LTIB image that requires C 11 or later. Is there a way to upgrade the cross compile environment and libraries in the LTIB image to support compiling and running this code on our LTIB image. We are running the latest BSP currently (2.4-4).

How to erase SD card 1941 8
Started by Matt McGarvey
We have the DM3730 board running a Linux OS and need ability to erase MicroSD card content.
But Linux 'dd' command too slow (takes approx. 15 minutes).
Are there any docs on low level commands that can be sent to the drive via ioctl() which can perform faster bulk erase
Thanks.
Matt

USB tries to enumerate after a device is unplugged 2679 13
Started by Derek Valleroy
Hello,
We are using the Torpedo as a USB host, and sometimes when we disconnect our High Speed USB HID device from it, we see odd behavior from the kernel.
After a disconnect, we immediately see a low-speed device try to enumerate (and fail), followed up by a few more high speed enumeration events (that fail) that occur every 15 seconds. I don't see any USB traffic when these messages occur (verified with an o-scope and logic analyzer). After this, the host will not even try to enumerate our ...

GPMC bus vs. low-power operation 1645 3
Started by YvesP
A design note, on page 9 of the Torpedo Launcher 3 Baseboard Schematic (doc 1021666F) indicates that 'Q7 and Q10 are an example of how to place the baseboard into a low power state however, due to the LAN and USB controllers, this feature cannot be used when the GPMC bus is active. Buffering the GPMC bus when in low power mode is recommended. Contact LogicPD support for reference designs'.
Is it possible to get a link to the above mentioned reference designs Or are they only provided under ser...

Intermittent freeze after Starting kernel ... at boot 2165 6
Started by Ryan Crowell
Here's the summary:
We are using the SOMDM3730-32-1880AKIR in a Linux-based design and are having intermittent problems during the boot sequence. Occasionally (infrequently - perhaps 1 out of 100 boot cycles) the system hangs right when u-boot should be handing control over to the Linux kernel. No further console output is seen and the system never recovers on its own. We know that the last few lines of u-boot code are executed, displaying 'Starting kernel ...', right up to t...

I am trying to get Android accessory to work on the stable 2.3.4 Android OS of the torpedo. According to https://developer.android.com/guide/topics/connectivity/usb/accessory.html

I added the file: com.android.future.usb.accessory.jar to the /system/framework folder and added the proper xml premissions and rebooted the device.

Contention when driving mcspi2_cs1 1344 1
Started by Deleted User
I would like to use DM3730 SOM - J1-P51 (mcspi2_cs1) as a GPIO output line. After executing step 7 below, the GPIO line does not pull up to 1.8V (only gets to abut 0.2v). I believe I am talking to the correct GPIO because I can see it drop to 0V when setting to logic '0', or this loaded state when writing logic '1'
I did the following procedure per LogicPD app note AN 527(selecting and using gpio signals on DM3730) :
1) grep gpio_182 /debug/omap_mux/*
/debug/omap_mux/mcspi2_cs1:signals...

WinCe Qt 1486 0
Started by Sergey Brandis
I use Qt 4.8.5 to create simple UI for my device (CPU ARM DM3730) under WinCe 6. When debugging on PC (Win7 64bit) everything is fine. BUT! on device it takes about a minute(!) to run the application. And QWidget repainted very slowly. I used qt designer for UI forms.
Why launch is so slowly and how can I fix it Could it be a problem in the ARM or WinCe or Qt...
Thanx a lot !
