Regarding Bluetooth PAN network 1568 9
Started by Hannibal Bauliah
Hi,
I am trying to establish Ad-hoc (GN) PAN interface configured in the Torpedo wireless board using the application note AN605. I could set up NAP based blue-tooth PAN interface by following the application note. The application note suggests to use the script test-nap to set up NAP based bnep(bluetooth) interface. But I could not find how to set up GN based PAN network in the application note.
I would like to know if the boards supports GN based PAN net...

I need to download white paper 491, SOM Thermal Management. I registered to this webpage and it does not allow me to click on the link for the white paper. We have used this some in some of our products before, but this is my first experience with it. I am a mechanical engineer and I need more information about its thermal characteristics, since I am in charge of the final product and performance. Can anyone tell me who I can talk to or contact to that I can get acc...

Bluetooth SPP profile support on Android 2.3.4? 1489 3
Started by mvly
I tried to connect the Torpedo wireless module with my phone so I can send it some Serial message using the bluetooth SPP profile. However all the apps I have tried says it cannot connect to the device. Pairing and transferring file to the Torpedo works fine. Transferring files from the Torpedo does not work though.
Any ideas how to add the SPP profile Do I have to upgrade the TI WL1283 firmware If so how do one do so

Bluetooth frequency setting 1485 12
Started by Hannibal Bauliah
Hi,
We sell our products in USA and Europe. I believe the bluetooth operating frequency varies between US and Europe. Could you please let me know if I can set the frequency range for the blue tooth module so that our product does not operate in a frequency that is set by the regulatory bodies
I would appreciate if you could provide me an api or driver call to set the bluetooth frequency.
Regards,
Hannibal

Parallel camera interface 1481 0
Started by Deleted User
Hello!
I have a SOMDM3730-20-2780AGCR with linux and I would like to work with a different image sensors connected to it with SPI and parallel interface. I know in most cases it can be done with V4L2, but all of my sensors is not supported.
In my point of view simpliest (and slowest) way to get data from the sensor - just use GPIO pins connected to the sensors parallel interface (if I correctly understood SOM design, all camera pins connected to GPIO pins, which is accessible to read), on so...

Unfortunately I was failed in purchasing recommended in 'AN 596 Logic PD Development Kit Camera Module Selection and Integration' document sensor boards. Most of them is out of stock and EOL.
My device should work with Fairchild Imaging CIS1910F sensor. I've connected it to Torpedo board by Camer...

MUSB Host with Mainstream kernel 1554 3
Started by Eric B
I've been working on a development using a mainstream kernel build for a DM37370 wireless SOM. I've been using the MUSB/OTG with a couple of gadget drivers and it seems to work pretty well. I also need to be able to use the USB in host mode but I haven't had any success in getting this to work. When I plug in the mini-A to A adapter that came with the devkit nothing happens. Plugging a flash drive into the dongle also does not create any events. On the old 2.4-4 BSP these steps put the por...

Using the DM3730 DSP core with Mainstream Linux 1737 4
Started by Ryan Crowell
We have been using the TorpedoWireless SOM for over a year now in custom designs. In the last couple of weeks we've transitioned successfully over to using Buildroot with the mainstream Linux kernel code.
One thing that we haven't yet done that we'd like to explore is using the DSP core in the DM3730 to accelerate some of our proprietary algorithms. Unfortunately, it seems that the readily available tools for developing and executing code on the DSP don't play well with the ...
