Error on resetting board to boot RAMDisk image from SD card 1656 24
Started by Qui Le
Hi All,
I am following the instructions (ie. from "DM37x Linux 4.9.y BSP User Guide" ) to build the BSP for my Logic board and trying to boot up the board from the SD card. I was able to copy the MLO, u-boot.img, logicpd-torpedo-37xx-devkit.dtb, zImage and rootfs.cpio.uboot onto the sdcard. I&39;ve inserted the sd card into the board, booted the board and entered U-boot. I followed the instructions of:
OMAP Logic nand unlock

OVM7692 camera interface with DM3730 Torpedo Kit 1159 0
Started by Sibey
Hi,
We want to connect a OVM7692 camera to a DM3730 Torpedo Wireless kit. I need few clarifications:
1) Can we connect the OVM7692 camera to the DM3730 Torpedo Wireless kit OR do we need to use a OVM7692 camera development board
1) OVM7692 powers supply is a 2.8V but the DM3730 Torpedo Wireless kit uses 1.8V Do we need a adapter board to connect the OVM7692 camera with the DM3730 Torpedo Wireless kit
3) Is there LInux BSP driver code changes ...

End of Life of POP uCs DM3730CBP100 919 1
Started by Deleted User
DM3730CBP100 seems not for new designs in the Digikey webpage and it also seems out of stock. I wonder if this part close to its end of life period and also if the SOMDM3730-20-2780AGCR-C In general I see that POP uCs not recommended for new designs in terms of end of life considerations. Could you please provide some info about that Thanks

Datasheet of Jorjin WG7550 1917 4
Started by Deleted User
Hi,
Is there any possibility to get datasheet of WiFi module Jorjin WG7550 which is used on -32 Torpedo versions
We are in certification process and lab asked us for datasheet of WiFi module itself.
We asked Jorjin directly, but they told us that they provide us datasheet only if we are going into mass production with their module.
Thanks.
Regards,
Zile

Wattson on Ubuntu 16.04 or 12.04 835 5
Started by Steve Postlewait
Hi,
I was able to get Wattson running successfully on Windows, but am hoping to get it running on 16.04 or 12.04 (it says it&39;s only compatible with 10.04). I am able to get the program running, but all of the text/images display as gibberish - a bunch of rectangles instead. Does anyone know the specifics of which packages, etc. I might need to get Wattson working on those platforms Thank you!

Restore LoLo aftet installing uboot to NAND 677 2
Started by Rob Birkner
Hello,
I&39;m trying to get some DM3730 SOMs restored to the default setup after they have been setup to boot from NAND using u-boot. I&39;ve tried creating an SD card with the LoLo MLO file and lboot.elf, as described in the LoLo labs, but when I try to boot from the SD card there is no response. (I used the proper SD formatting tool and copied the MLO first.) I can erase the NAND and boot using an SD card with the u-boot MLO, but not LoLo.
All the instructions I&39;v...

Mainstream Linux 4.4.y DM3730 Sleep 1097 13
Started by William Deninger
Hi Adam,
When I try to place the Torpedo DM3730 SOM (w WIFI) into a sleep (standby) state under Mainstream Linux 2018.05.x using 4.4.76, I receive a write error to /sys/power/state. I had modified (and verified) the u-boot optargs environment "no console suspend" was removed using nand unlock, setenv ... and saveenv, reset and printenv optargs. The example you had given under the topic Mainstream DM37x Linux (shown below) could not have been correct in that expected values for s...

Linux/DM3730: NAND rootfs image update over OMAPFlashtool v4.2 doesn't work 1247 4
Started by Sergey Brandis
Good afternoon.
I&39;m expereiencing some troubles updating bootloaders and rootfs on DM3730.
First of all - I had to install Windows XP x86 (THIS IS IMPORTANT!) on separate PC for being able just properly connect to my DM3730. It turned out, OMAP Flashtool (v 4.2) works only with WinXP x86.
But the main issue is that after full chip erase and downloading:
MLO (offset 0x0, ECC 1-bit x-loader/u-boot),
u-boot.bin (offset 0x8000, NAND ECC),
...

Crash 773 1
Started by Matus Hanzes
Hello,
I have an application that uses libusb to start an asynchronous interrupt transfer and stops the transfer before it&39;s completed.
I have been experiencing random crashes in kernel.
Crashes are caused by musb_host.c:musb_advance_schedule() function where kfree can be called with the same value twice.
It happens if musb_dma_completion is in progress and libusb_cancel_transfer is called.
I would like to ask if there is a kernel patch available that would fix this issu...
