Uncompressing linux...done, booting the kernel 1649 3

Hello.
Earlier i used u-boot v1.1.4 and linux kernel 2.6.28-rc8 and it work properly. But this u-boot does`t have "fatload" function.
So, i changed it to u-boot-2009.08-rc2 and kernel to 2.6.32 version(archive 1016197_OMAP35x_Linux_Patches_v2-0.zip). I`v patched and compiled it without problem, but when i try to use it, loading stopped on "Uncompressing linux...done, booting the kernel". That`s all, system doing nothing anymore.
How to solve this problem

Linux 2.6.32 patches 1494 1

Has anyone successfully applied the patches as they are supplied I'm getting frequent errors. From what I see, the context in the patch file is just not always correct when I look at the kernel (which logic pd supplies a copy of with the patch set).
An example is patch 06, the Makefile portion. One of the options listed in the context is just not present in the kernel Makefile,and, the patch cannot be applied.

How to save config block to SD card? 1391 0

As a noob user of the LogicPD Zoom OMAP35x Dev kit, my next assigned task is connect an 800x480 NEC LCD display to the board (using Windows CE 6.0).
I have read the LogicLoader manual about scripting the configuration block, but it is still not clear to me how to add an 800x480 format to the list of possible display formats. The lboot.cfg is a binary file, and it's not obvious to be how to edit it to add video formats, to switch from the default 480x272 format to 800x480.

Does the 35XX has user accessible or user defined GPIO lines. We need to have an interrupt occur every time a serial line's CTS toggles.

Build errors on new BSP 2.0.0 1391 1

I'm trying to get a clean build of the 'hello' example program using the latest TI OMAP35X BSP 2.0.0 on Windows CE 6.0 platform builder.
Windows CE 6.0 has all the QFE updated in place and reports clean.
It looks like everytime I build the solution. It gives me an error message telling me there is an library file missing.
Just now, I got an error message:

Problem in connecting PB debugger with OMAP35x target board 1513 1

Hi,
Whenever I am trying to connect Visual studio 2005 IDE with my target board I am getting following error message
"PB Debugger The Kernel Debugger is waiting to connect with target."
BTW I am able to load NK.bin over ethernet but after that on BOOTME command I am getting above error message.

Creating SD card for zoom dev kit 1498 4

I built u-boot from the patches from the support website.
I put this on an SD card from a Beagle board (that works) replacing the beagle u-boot with the dvk version. This booted ok, I saw some u-boot messages, but never got to the u-boot prompt.
So I replaced mlo with the mlo from the sample card supplied with the kit. Now Nolo reports it can't load the boot image.
Is there any docs on getting the board to boot from the SD card Is there a specifc mlo I should be using

I have a question on the OMAP35x SOM-LV board. We are using the board in our design and I need to find out about a couple signals. According to the OMAP 35x SOM-LV Hardware Spec the following signals are used with for the Camera Sensor Interface, CSI_D0..D11, CSI_VSYNC and CSI_HSYNC. We don't need the Camera Interface but I wanted to know if I can use this pins for GPIO. According to the OMAP Datasheet these pins have dual functions and can be defined for GPIO in the register setting...

Hello,
I am new to embedded devices and am trying to follow lab-1 step-by-step. The labs are well explained - good job. However, I am having trouble compiling the Lab-1 project. I cloned the BSP to a TrainingLab1 BSP and created a new project. When I select "build solution", I end up with a build error. Can anyone help

NOR Flash testing on OMAP35xx SOM/MDK 1588 2

Hi ,i was wondering if the on-board NOR have been tested with some low&high level software.
Logic loader , u-boot & Linux
TimeSys doesn't sound to offer the NOR support so i'm really wondering how we are supposed to be using the NOR that is on the SOM

hi.all
I know timesys has a linux solution for developing OMAP35X Zoom Development kit, But it has many limits, and not for free some resources. Has anyone know another method to develop this board on linux
such as: 1. how to choose cross toolchain
2. how to compile kernel , RFS and make elf file for logicloader to load in RAM
Any suggestion or help is very highly appreciated!

Cannont boot Windows CE builds from NAND 1413 3

I can sucessfully boot my Windows CE 6.0 images from SD, but when I try to boot from NAND I run into errors.
Here's what I am doing:
mount yaffs /dev/nand0 /yp
mount fatfs /dev/sdmmc0a /sd
cp /sd/NK.BIN /yp/NK.BIN
load /yp/NK.BIN
R
................load failed
error: load: unable to read section header (NK.BIN)
Here's my version info:

I am not able to boot the Zoom kit properly. Am getting following messages on the JTAG debugger. Please let me know so that I can take corrective action.

with refernce to LPD_OMAP35X_SOM BSP. I am able to view in registry setings "CalibrationData"="144,265 253,79 253,446 34,447 34,83" for 480X272 TouchPanel. But this data is never used by touchscreen driver. any changes in this data has an effect on touchPanel. anyone knows where exactly this data is refered
