This revision adds a requirement to populate R197 on the Torpedo Launcher 3 Baseboard with a zero ohm resistor for proper operation. These are the two modules I am using:

I have several of both and every single board is showing this issue. I first noticed the issue when trying to access and update the real time clock. When using the 'hwclock' linux command I would either get a terminal lock-up, a false good but no update or interrupt is issued, or the error message "select() to /dev/rtc to wait for clock tick timed out". Hello all,
I am using an OMAP3530 SOM-LV in Zoom OMAP35x board and Linux BSP available in LogicPD web for this board.
I am able of load and run Linux BSP from SD card on this board.
I program applications and I get the executables with the CodeSourcery. I storage the executables of the applications in the SD card.
First, I have executed successfully a "hello world" application.
Second, I have programmed an application that accesses to memory, with this structure:

SD card detection with AM3703 1721 1

Hello,
I have a very new DM3730 and an AM3707 SOM ...The AM used to boot from my SD card .Now suddenly it fails to boot from sd cardbut rather it jumps straight to the logicloader in the nand.
Tried many reinsertions, reformatings ,used all the demo SD cards but still never takes the SD boot.
The DM works fine with all the SD cards..Strangely it worked yesterday but stopped working in the next reinsertion ever since...
Any one faced similar issues out of options...

Dear all,
The module DM3730 Torpedo SOM runs al 600 Mhz by default. I'm interested to increase the speed till 1 GHz. I could change the speed using LOLO (v.2.5.0) till 800 MHz but it is not persistent and I'm not able to change it using 'cpufreq-set' command in linux (v3.0.0) because no driver to change the frequency is present. I've recompiled the kernel with the options 'CPU Frequency scaling' enabled.
I would like to change the frequency of the processor to 1 GHz and make the change persist...

Hi,
Everyday when I start working with the Logic PD OMAP3530 SOL-LV, I face this problem - When I switch on the power button, I do not get anything(Logic Loader) on my Tera-term/Hyperterminal/Minicom. I try to take out all the parts(LCD, Chip) and put it back again and again and arbitrarily once the device starts working. I waste a lot of time doing this every day.
Can anybody tell me why am I facing this problem Is there anyone who face the same problem Is these some fault in the device Wh...

I'm trying to get the OMAP35x Zoom Development kit to communicate over I2C using Win CE 6.0.
The goal is to communicate with an I2C device connected to I2C2 bus. Our device is at address 0x39.
I used three API functions CreateFile, DeviceIoControl, WriteFile, and ReadFile to open I2C2 port, set slave address, and transmitted data in and out.

Hi,
I am new to the device OMAP3530 SOM-LV and trying to start Android on it. I am using the Android demo image and demo_getting_started_guide for the instructions. I followed each step and created the SD card with Android image on it.
Now, when I am putting the SD card in the device and powering up - The Logic Loader read from NAND instead of SD card. My Logic Loader version is 2.4.8p2, I hope that is not a problem.

Hi,
I am using OMAP35x SOM LV. I am trying to use a custom LCD panel with 480x640 resolution.
I am able to display a bitmap during LOLO. But while booting into Linux, only 480x270 resolution is coming.
I have tried changing different display modes with 640x480 and omapfb.rotation etc, but unable to display.
Any sugestion would help.

Hi,
I am using the u-boot-2009.08-rc2, linux-2.6.32. I have patched and loaded the u-boot and linux.I am successfully able to boot the device.
Now i want to check the expansion board. I am not able to get any clock on pins 3(clk),7(cs0), 11,13 when i checked with oscope.
What are the changes/configurations needed to enable the expansion board on omap35x.
