I first noticed the issue when trying to access and update the real time clock. When using the 'hwclock' linux command I would either get a terminal lock-up, a false good but no update or interrupt is issued, or the error message "select() to /dev/rtc to wait for clock tick timed out". I'm interested to increase the speed till 1 GHz. I could change the speed using LOLO (v.2.5.0) till 800 MHz but it is not persistent and I'm not able to change it using 'cpufreq-set' command in linux (v3.0.0) because no driver to change the frequency is present. I've recompiled the kernel with the options 'CPU Frequency scaling' enabled. I would like to change the frequency of the processor to 1 GHz and make the change persist...
