Chapter 5 of white paper 540, DM3730/AM3703 SOM-LV Thermal Management points out that heat can be conducted out the top through of the SOM-LV through the PoP memory package.Table 5.1 presents some thermal dissipation data generated by Logic PD. However, this table is not detailed enough to allow me to calculate an effective junction to case thermal resistance through the memory. I'm migrating a WinCE SOMOMAP3530 project from the (small) 128MB SDRAM to the (large) 256MB SDRAM version. I am experiencing a display flicker when the frame refreshes. I've traced this back to a Platform.reg setting. A few comments from the file are:

USB power control 2113 4

I have an existing SOM-LV design that is showing a USB port issue when using a new (to this platform) device. When this new device is plugged into the OTG port, the USB will cycle disconnect/connect. The device is attempting to pull ~450mA through the port. The VBUS (5v) is repeatably cycling on/off.
I don't have schematic for the SOM. As a registered user, can I get one (Where can I find one)
It appears the SOM is using the tps65950 USB-phy for the OTG port.&n...

Mainstream Linux with camera 1640 2

We're transitioning from the old LTIB build system to Mainstream Linux with the 4.4.9 LTS kernel.
The old kernel has modifications that logidpd provided to support the OV7690 camera/sensor.
Does anyone have any suggestions for getting a camera to work with the new Mainstream Linux Ideally there would be a patch or a kernel config I could use

Unable to boot Mainstream Kernel from SD card 2923 9

Hey everyone,
I am having difficulty booting the DM3730 torpedo with the Mainstream Kernel with either of the methods described in the user manual. I am able to create the correct SD card as described for RAMDisk but board either does not respond at all or shows the X-Loader for the 2.4.4 BSP. I had that BSP previously loaded on the board so I was thinking I needed to change some of the environment variables but I have been unable to find the right combination. Hello,
I have a cache of older OMAP35x SOM-LV's, some of which have given us 'NAND Flash Errors'. I'd like to return these modules to a factory condition. I have access to the OMAP module development board. What is the proper procedure for this I see in the Zoom OMAP35x Development Kit user manual, section 4, shows how to recover corrupt boot NAND flash. Will this accomplish what I'm trying to do

Is there any way I can get around this for short periods of time The WiFi (802.11n, 2.4G) will be turned on only occasionally, and it would make things much easier for our customers if we could allow them to wear/hold the device when WiFi is turned on.

Are there any known issues with the TSC2004 giving spurious touch events
We are using the DM3730 in a custom board with WinCE 6.0 and we will sporadically get fake touch events from the touch screen.
Here are things we've tried:
Put .01uf filtering capacitors on the touch lines.
Tried various different timing values by modifying touchscreen.cpp.
Gone so far to even try running the TSC2004 in chip controlled mode instead of host controlled.

Still working on porting the DM3730 to work on our board that was originally developed for the iMX31. We were using a GPIO pin that is now connected to uP_GPIO_1 of the DM3730. I've set it up using the GPIO library:
