Connection issues with PB and OMAP3530 1849 0
Started by KWheeler
We are trying to establish debug connections to a couple OMAP3530 dev kits running Win CE 6.0.
The 2 kits are connected to 2 different computers with pretty much identical installs of VS2005, Platform Builder and WinCE 6.0 R2. All patches have been applied to both environments, one system has been used to build a kernel while the other has not. Here is what we're seeing:
The system that has been used to create a version of the kernel can connect to a dev platform but only using the remote too...

OEMAddressTable mapping 1901 1
Started by abhijeet
Hello,
I am using LogicPD WinCE BSP on OMAP35X.
I am trying to map a physical address(0x3F000000) by adding its entry into OEMAddresstable.
This Address supposed to give the GPMC memory address space.
I am getting some virtual address after using MmMapIospcae(), but whenever I am going to
read this memory location I am getting always "0" on this location.
can anyone give solution to this
Thanks in advance
Abhijeet

unpredictable mount of compact flash cards 1849 1
Started by steve
We're using the standard iMX31 ZOOM LITEKits, and have our systems boot then load and run the CE5.0 image from a compact flash card. We find it difficult to predict what CF card suppliers will mount & work reliably. After trying any number of suppliers, there is no clear pattern. Without a reliable CF offering, our Production will have big problems in the near future. LoLo (2.4.0p1) is always be happy with any card. We loose the mount once CE loads (from the CF) and runs. It does not seem t...

Rndis Connection Failure 1665 0
Started by Deleted User
We are using IMX31 Litekits and the Loce BSP for Windows CE.
I'm having trouble with Rndis not working randomly in some OS builds. The symptom is that the Windows XP desktop identifies the device and loads the driver, but then fails with a Device Cannot Start (Error code 10). I get a Network Adapter Device in my device manager with a yellow exclamation point on it.
What is happening is that after about 4kb of basic data being exchanged successfully, the Windows XP host sends a Setup Pa...

Download OS Image over USB 4536 0
Started by tim.wile@sensitech.com
We have a Windows CE embedded device utilizing Intel PXAx processor and Logic's LoCE ARMV4I BSP.
Currently, we add the OS image, NK.BIN file to compact flash card and connect it to the mainboard. We then utilize the serial port and connect it to a PC’s RS232 DB9 port. Then we establish a successful connection via TeraTerm and run through the script commands to “mount” the image from the compact flash to the card engine’s memory.
What we want to do instead is connect the compact flash to the ma...

USB 2.0 and the PXA270 1585 2

I am attempting to use the NXP provided HCD driver for USB 2.0 for the PXA270. We have attached the chip's IRQ to IRQA on the module.
Anyone able to offer assistance on this topic The target locks up when I try to use the new driver. We need USB2.0 speed from the target to an attached device (like a camera or USB stick). For now, we're using the Logic provided Function port back to the PC (for ActiveSync).
I hope someone from Logic reads this. Do I need to purchase support before you wi...

Windows CE 6.0 BSP from LogicPD for its ZOOM i.MX27 Litekit? 1627 0
Started by Deleted User
Hi,
I recently purchased LogicPD ZOOM i.MX27 LiteKit, recommended from Freescale.
Many brochures and demos mention that it contains a Windows CE 6.0 Binary BSP. However, there is no such thing neither inside the box nor in the website. There is even no NK.bin image to test it. No explanation on how to upload it to the device is given but I think it should be quite easy with LoLo (Logic Loader).
Where can I get it
Thanks for your answer.

Connecting VS2005 to Windows CE 5.0 without Activesync 1718 0
Started by Deleted User
We get this question a lot. Microsoft has lots of info about this, but here are some basics. You need to have a WinCE image running that has the cab installer included, active sync (even you aren't using it, I think), Wired Network support, Network utitlies (ipconfig, .etc), command window, command processor, network user interface, and a few others but these I think are the important ones. I think the cab installer is important one that people forget, since VS2005 will download some cab file...

reset on iMX31 1584 0
Started by Deleted User
Hi,
I'm working on the iMX31 Litekit with Win CE 5.0. I try to reset the board using the KernelIoControl function or the SetSystemPowerState one, but it doesn't work. However the LoCE User's guide says the IOCTL_HAL_REBOOT is implemented.
The watchdog could be disabled, but I can't find how to enable it.
Has someone an idea

telent server on iMX31 1584 2
Started by Deleted User
I have an iMX Litekit (1006581 Rev 2).
I created an OS image including telnet server. It boots, the ethernet is well configured and I can ping the card. The firewall is disabled.
When I start the telnet connection I have the message "Welcome to the Windows CE Telnet Service" but don't see the prompt. Yet, the session is well started : I can stop it entering 'exit'.
Has someone seen this problem
