    Hi all,

I am new to 79520SDK and trying to recover BOLO/LOLO.

I erased block zero of flash accidentally and now I can recover neither bolo nor lolo.

I have IAR development kit and J-link(JTAG) in my hand but I cannot download and run any code to the board. I tried programming flash and SDRAM but none of them seems to be responding.

When I tried to write to the flash it gives "memory timed out error". I download to SDRAM but nothing appears to be coming. I thought that SDRAM should be initialized first so I try to run some tiny code to run from internal SRAM but I cannot start the board either.

Can anybody help me about restoring BOLO/LOLO using IAR? I spent more than one week on this issue but board seems to be dead...

    Thanks

    Hello,
Here are the steps with a multi-ice: http://www.logicpd.com/su...q/faq.php?faq_id=150
Unfortunately I have not used an IAR JTAG emulator.

    Hi again.

Finally I programmed my dead board's flash from IAR. The procedure is so easy that I am ashamed of telling it. But If you are a newbie to the lh79520 and embedded development like me then you can reach me from caglar@bilkon-kontrol.com.tr if you need the detailed procedure.

P.S. : By the way I don't think giving individual mail addresses is inappropriate. But if I am wrong, then I am sorry for any inconvenience that I am producing.

No problem at all. Glad to hear that you got this resolved. Thank you for being willing to help others out.
