I have the schematics for the pins. This is my first time working with this board, so I am trying to figure out the different registers, and the sample program didn't really help me with understanding.

What I need is a document explaining what signals need to be sent to what pins to use different components of the board.

For example, I am looking to take advantage of the Random Number Generator Accelerator, has anyone used the RNGA before? I just basically havent found much documentation on it or any of the supposid secuirty features like hashing, encryption, etc.

Edit: On the freescale site I found the documentation I needed as far as what pins to drive to do what, though I guess now I got to figure out what I am doing. Last microcontroller I worked with was a Rabbit, ha.

Edit2: Well it looks like the memory space for the RNGA is 0x53FB0000 to 0x53FB3FFF. It says I need to set the appropiate pins to activate normal mode, but it says no where which pins, anyone know?

    dsanders,

I imagine you are starting to get a feel for how complex the i.MX31 processor is. Let's just say that it isn't a rabbit

All of the information that you are looking for is likely to be found in the actual user manual for the processor - from Freescale.

Please consider letting Logic help you out with any portion of your design. Details regarding available forms of support can be found at www.logicpd.co.

    Best regards,
