    Hello,

I have an iMX Litekit (1006581 Rev 2).

I created an OS image including the ethernet driver lpd_smsc_lan911x_imx31_50_0_3_0. Sometimes this image boots well and sometimes not. When it doesn't, the boot process starts normally
and then sends two debug messages :
    - 20 messages "SMSC911X: MiniportHandleInterrupt() hardware not ready..."
    - and then, endless - an infinite loop I think -, the message "SMSC911X: DPC event pool empty..."

The boot logs are here :
    http://revedailleurs.free...v/boot-log-error.txt
    http://revedailleurs.free.../boot-log-normal.txt

Has someone an idea about this issue and why it isn't always reproducible ?

    Regards,
    Nicolas

    Reve,
I have the same exact kit, and am using the same driver. I haven't used with ethernet that much, but it seems to work ok for me.

Are you loading your image using bootme + ethernet, or maybe from the compact flash? What is your command line you give to the kernel?

I load my image from a tftp server. My command line is exec rtc:rtc_imx31:dbg_serial:IMX31_UART:kitl:false:disp_num:

I started having the same problem. As part of our support contract, Logic gave us a new driver to try that fixed it.

(lpd_smsc_lan911x_imx31_50_0_4_0) I think it will be released soon.

Right, it seems that the lpd_smsc_lan911x_imx31_50_0_4_0 driver fixes this issue.
