    Guys,

I know this SoC is not for the hobbist market and is pretty new, but there is not a decent forum all over the web!! only a couple of posting in freeservers under 16-Bit Microcontrollers (??) and this list.

Im waiting my LITE board and Im starting a new product with iMX31 in 2 months but........I feel aloneee

Maybe is time to create a forum in yahoo? Any suggestion?

    DrOctavius,
The i.MX31 is new to the distribution market from Freescale, previously only available to Freescale Tier1 customers. So consider yourself an early adopter. Feel free to use this board to discuss any i.MX31 topics and ask questions. LogicPD staff responds daily on this board.

DrOctavius I too would like to find more info on the part. I have an eval board but have yet to do anything with. I'm still trying to digest the 2356 page reference manual. Make a post of you find another forum. Thank

ocean_front_view: good to see another Champaignite on the board! Do you happen to be using this board for research? I'm part of the Illinois Security Lab in the CS dept. under Dr. Gunter and am considering purchasing one to research how its security features could be used to provide remote attestation. Not sure if that's possible yet, as I haven't gotten through the 2500+ page manual myself...

I work for a private company here in Champaign. I made my location know with hope I might find some local people using this part. This is a big impressive chip and will take a lot of work to get it going. I’ve had an eval board for 3 months but have yet to touch it. Just last week I found a low cost development system for it. This place sells debug pods http://www.macraigor.com/hwproducts.htm and they have links to a free IDE which can use the GCC compiler. I sent my board to macraigor and they are going to make a project file just for this board so we can get up and running. I would be interested in talking off line.
