LCD timeout 1448 7
Started by rbunce
Thanks to the various contributors, I now have linux up and running on the i.MX31 Zoom Litekit.
One small problem is that the LCD goes blank after a few minutes of operation. I assume it is a power save timeout but I can't track down where to change the timeout period, or disable it. I would appreciate any ideas about where to look.
I am using 2.6.19 with the various patches listed in this discussion group, and apart from the timeout the LCD works well.
Thanks in advance,
Roy

Schematic Error 1368 1

Just wanted to point out a schematic error to LogicPD and others...
On the breakout board connector (J2) and on both connectors on the baseboard, the following pins are in the following order:
Quote:
SIM0_CLK
SIM0_VEN
SIM0_nDETECT
VREF_JTAG
But on the SOM schematic, they are in the following order:
Quote:
SIM0_CLK
SIM0_nDETECT
SIM0_VEN
VFEF_JTAG
Thus, SIM0_nDETECT and SIM0_VEN are switched everywhere in the baseboard and the breakoutboard. Its not a big deal unless you guys try to add a ...

What does it take to get SD cards to work in WinCE? 1380 2
Started by ThomasHill
I've tried including -- separately and together -- the "SD Memory" and the "SDIO Standard Host Controller" catalog items, but I can't get WinCE to recognize an SD card.
Anyone have it working It ought to work, since LogicPD documentation says it's supported. I'm sure it's just something I'm missing.
Thanks.

Installing Linux Kernel and 2nd stage Bootloader to NOR 1412 4

If someone who knows could describe the operation and provide a listing of the commands I would be most gratefull.

Edit:
I've been trying :

and that will succedd, but I cannot mount it.
mount yaffs boot
this returns error code 21, which does not tell me much.

UART problems 1367 2
Started by Deleted User
There have been some problems with the UARTS. Here is an update on what we know.
UARTB (IMX31 UART 2) not working: Traced to an improper setting in the GPR register. Clear bit 0 of the GPR register. In lolo, use this command:
w /w 0x43FAC008 0x00000000
UART RTS/CTS not behaving as expected: We need to confirm with Freescale, but it appears the MX31 UARTs have a problem with the UFCR&91DCEDTE&93 bit that allows RTS/CTS to be swapped on-chip. Because of this, the RTS/CTS signals are rever...

linux bsp from freescale (imx31, rel 5b, 20071008) 1772 0
Started by Deleted User
Hello,
Has anyone gotten the linux bsp (rel 5b) to compile using ltib for the mx31 We've followed the instructions in the BSP User Manual without any success. The first compilation succeeds, but a recompilation after the distclean command fails on Qtopia (pngscale). I am using Debian 4.0, but have also compiled on Linux Mint 4.0, Fedora 8, and Ubuntu 7.10. All those distributions produced the same error.
I realize this is a freescale problem, but I'm hoping someone may be able to help here. ...
