3.5-qvga-10 Display problem with DirectFB 1728 1
Started by dkudlay
I am running into a strange issue when running my GTKDirectFB app. The screen is offset high by about 10 pixels and the colors are washed out. If I terminate the app, the frame buffer image left on the screen looks correct however. I tried to adjust the screen position via software but it seems the bottom 10 pixels are not accesible. Has anyone ran into something similar

What exactly does LoLo setup? 1648 1
Started by RossLeppard
Hi,
I've been trying to do some benchmarking on my LITEKIT and one issue I've run into is finding out exactly what is setup by LoLo (version 2.3.5 on my board) in terms of clockspeeds, cache, memory, interrupts etc. The code I'm running is some fairly simple calculations, quite floating point heavy and also with a lot of memory accesses and on the memory access especially I don't seem to be getting close to the sort of performance I would expect. My program is written in C and I'm using the G...

Addressing external devices with FAST_nCS - SOLVED! 1692 0
Started by rbunce
I'm having a problem getting FAST_nCS to work. According to the hardware specification, FAST_nCS is active when nCS4 is active, and address 23 is high, and the schematic logic confirms this behaviour. Even with the simplest possible code (below), running stand-alone under LoLo, FAST_nCS stays high. (The same thing happens under Linux.) Tracing the signals with a 'scope shows that nCS4 is going low when it should, but A23 never goes high. This gates off FAST_nCS and U31 pin 3 is always high. I've...

Input/output error when using /dev/dsp 1706 3
Started by Deleted User
Hi
I receive a Input/output error when trying to play sound in any way (tested media players as well as cat to /dev/dsp). I've traced the error to the kernel driver for the PCM parts (snd_pcm_lib_write1() in sound/core/pcm_lib.c) where the code is waiting for a signal that never fires. My guess is that the signal is linked to an interrupt that never reach the driver.
Something wierd:
We had problems mounting the rootfs over nfs (1 out of 10 tries worked). If nfs was mounted with the tcp flag i...

request for LTIB V3 iso (Linux 2.6.19) 1579 9
Started by tombrus
My board still does not boot correctly with the Linux 2.6.22 kernel. I have indications that a 2.6.19 kernel can boot correctly, but I can not build it. I need the LTIB V3 iso but I can not find it on the Freescale site. All I see is the LTIB V5b iso which contains the 2.6.22 kernel.
It would make me very happy if someone could mail that LTIB V3 iso to me: tombrus at gmail.
Thanks,
Tom

Hi,
I'm using a imx31 SOM module ( P/N 1006581, silicon rev 1.2 ) with Lolo 2.3.5p
I have not visible issue with it.
I tried to use the new version 2.4 ( only to have sd/mmc fatfs access at boot-up ) and now I've got a lot of weird behavours at linux boot :
- ethernet PMIC and sd/mmc do not initialized well ( randomly )
- boot sequence lockup
To summarize :
- is the new lolo 2.4 compatible with my module
- I buy it in feb 2008, is it normal that I received a pilot version
- I downgr...

Has anyone managed to get OpenGL to run on MX31L or MX31
We have MX31L and a compatible Linux BSP, but have had trouble tracking down the drivers to enable the hardware acceleration with GPL.
Any success, or failure stories would be much appreciated.
Thank you.

Has anyone successfully used a GPIO to wake up out of a low power mode We are able to enter the mem power state and we've registered our irq such that it is being handled during this low power state, but we can't seem to get our irq to wake the kernel.
Here are the functions that we're using to setup our irq.

hantro mpeg encoder - CRM_MCU_BASE_ADDR 1558 0
Started by Deleted User
Hi all,
I am using imx31 litekit. I am trying to use the hantro mpeg encoder. I am getting an error in the device driver for the hardware while building. It say:
"error: 'CRM_MCU_BASE_ADDR' undeclared (first use in this function)"
CRM_MCU_BASE_ADDR is not declared anywhere in the source.
Please can anyone tell the value/source of CRM_MCU_BASE_ADDR
Thanks,
Arjun

NVCC3 is over voltage 1546 1
Started by freem
Logic
When LOLO boots, NVCC3 is set to 2.8V. However, I have found NVCC3 is getting set to 3.3V by Window CE after it boots, this is not good. Max voltage on NVCC1 and NVCC3 - NVCC10 rails is 3.1V.
PS
Any answers on my last post yet

Problems running some floating point benchmark code 1680 5
Started by RossLeppard
Hi all,
I'm trying to get some simple floating point benchmark code to run on my LITEKIT board but I'm getting nowhere fast and am running out of ideas.
I'm using the sample application, LED_Flasher, that came with the board as a starting point and I've got my code working by just inserting it into the example. For the level of accuracy I need just running the code 100 times and toggling the LED and timing it by stop watch is fine for the moment.
I've used the 'exec' LoLo command and ...

Linux - Testing the touchscreen 1510 3
Started by olco
Hello,
I'm at the end of testing and debugging the LiteKit with the Freescale linux BSP rel 3 (linux 2.6.19.2 SPI/PMIC patch) .
I'm using the 10.4 display kit.
Most of the board is working ( video, audio, etc..)
I have still an issue with the Touch screen. It is not working.
Below it is the result from the test tool software.
It is always the same results, except that randomly there is some "0".
I don't know if it is an sofware or hardware issue.
may someone have any hints
