4 Replies and 1109 Views CE Sample Image Problems  1109  4 Started by  PaulChristensen First bootup for me led to some problems Logic has confirmed. The CE demo image is buggy with respect to USB devices plugged in (mouse kbd etc). What happens is the mouse works for a few mins, then the image freezes and must be rebooted. Logic is aware of the problem and is addressing it last time I talked to them. Paul

0 Replies and 1005 Views How do you get an application into the development kit?????  1005  0 Started by  mraitman Ok, so active sync, as described in the Zoom Development kit Windows CE User guide is supposed to be used to get an application onto the development board. But according to the know issues FAQ, active sync doesn't work yet. I thought you might me also be able to copy something to a Compact Flash card and run it from there, but.... on this forum, someone asked the question I would have when I couldn't see the CF card from your booted NK.BIN image - and the answer is the current image doesn't...

3 Replies and 1210 Views Linux BSP for this board  1210  3 Started by  Deleted User Hello, Will you provide a linux BSP for this board, and if yes, when If no or not anytime soon, I fear I will have to port the Freescale's intern Mx31 ADS BSP for this board. Are there many differences in term of BSP, between the ADS board and the lite kit (maybe wince BSP developers can tell)

0 Replies and 1005 Views I2C problems  1005  0 Started by  MatthiasKirst Hi guys, we are integrating the SOM-board into our world and got it running with JTAG and RS232. Now I want to contact a CMOS-sensor via I2C. I2C-Problem: I do not get the I2C1_CLK out of the SOM-board. I tested the signal I2C1_CLK with an oscilloscope on the expansion connector J13 Pin 147. Is there any known trick, beside things I've done Is there an other way to test Did Logic test the I2C features Wire/adapter problem Thanks. Matt & Steffen My way to put data via I2C: - I enable...

5 Replies and 1333 Views GNU Toolchain for i.MX31 Litekit  1333  5 Started by  MatthiasKirst We will buy an i.MX31 Litekit as soon as it will be available to us. We heard from Freescale that a GNU-Toolchain will be available with the kit. 1. Are the libraries in that toolchain compiled with VFP instructions and optimizations for speed 2. Is the startup code (initializing registers etc.) delivered with the board Thanks, Matthias

2 Replies and 1335 Views SD Card voltage (1.8V?)  1335  2 Started by  ccowgill We're working on a port of our SD card drivers to the i.MX31 and it appears that the voltage fed to the SD card socket on the Baseboard from the i.MX31 SOM is 1.8V. That pretty much rules out any common SD cards working there (although MMC Mobile cards will probably support the lower voltage, we need/want 4-bit SD mode for speed and availability of product in the channel). 1.8V only to the SD slot then is a problem for us... In looking at the schematics, it would appear that I can isolate the...
