20 Replies and 2351 Views PCMCIA/CF Not Enabled  2351  20 Started by  davek
(Topic has multiple pages1 2 )
Is anyone using the PCMCIA/CF in the LiteKit successfully under linux It seems that the processor is not driving the PCC_POWER_nEN_3.3V pin, so the power to the CF slot is disabled. I've searched through the drivers, and I don't see anywhere that they poke that bit to enable power. I've downloaded the full patch from this site. Are there newer drivers Thanks

0 Replies and 1419 Views Linux problem: socket error  1419  0 Started by  OradFarez Hello. I know this sounds like a very generic problem that could be hard to diagnose with such little detail, but since most of us are using the same 2.6.19 patched kernel, maybe others have corrected this problem. I get "error getting socket: Address family not supported by protocol" all over the place: SD card, OpenGL driver, audio programs.... Anyone know what I need to do to fix this, please Thank you.

12 Replies and 1469 Views Interfacing LQ035Q7DB03  1469  12 Started by  Deleted User Hi, I interfaced LQ035Q7DB03 to litekit. And I am not able to do any operation on the LCD in losh. The backlight seems to work fine. I can see some flicker on the screen when i do a video-open. Other tests like draw-test or video-clear dont seem to work at all. There are no failure messages on the shell. What voltage should be given to the VEE and VDD on the LCD, right now I am connecting LCD_VEEEN and LCD_VDDEN from the board. It will be great if someone can provide the connection schematic f...

3 Replies and 1481 Views JTAG: 0V on pins 1 & 2 ?  1481  3 Started by  squidge Is this normal I thought that pins 1 & 2 were supposed to be VREF from the target board to show that its "alive", and power jtag equipment However, if I measure across pins 1 & GND, I got a difference of 0V (taking ground from pin 20, as well as directly from the psu input to make sure).

6 Replies and 1370 Views Touchscreen  1370  6 Started by  fszczerba Does anyone have the touchscreen working under Linux I have the driver loading successfully, but no events ever show up. I was poking through the schematics, and I see that there is an unpopulated short (RS2) in the LCD_HSYNC/HRLP single before the PMIC's ADTRIG input. Should this be populated to get the touch screen working I'm using the Logic 10.1" VGA display kit.

2 Replies and 1420 Views Running Xorg  1420  2 Started by  jdr Hi, I have a i.MX31 Lite kit running with Debian for arm-eabi. The framebuffer device seem to be working fine, I see a nice Penguin at startup. Also video output through video4linux works. Now I would like to run some userinterface stuff, maybe a file browser. The most off the shelf thing I can think about is running Xorg and GPE or something like that on top (like it is being done on any linux enabled PDA). But Xorg does not work, either using the fbdev or v4l driver. The fbdev fails because ...

4 Replies and 1390 Views UARTB under Linux  1390  4 Started by  davek Has anyone been able to use UARTB (/dev/ttymxc1) successfully under linux Here's what I've been able to use: - UART A - works - UART B - doesn't work - UART C - works - UART D - overlaps with IDE pins - disabled - UART E - seems to be USB Host Pins More specifically, the UART B pins on the expansion board seem to be at the wrong logic levels. The TX pin should sit high, and it seems to be always low. Any suggestions Thanks

0 Replies and 1502 Views Standalone application on Imx31  1502  0 Started by  Deleted User Hello all, Has anyone ever compiled a standalone application with gcc (no OS) that runs on imx31 I would like to know what registers I need to configure. At the moment I configure the register for MMC PLL and clock path. (Part of my code is based on an Application note from freescale originaly written for Realview.) After benchmarking the code I found that it runs slower than the same code compiled and run on linux.

4 Replies and 1239 Views Lolo won't load above 64MB?!?!  1239  4 Started by  OradFarez I'm trying to get Redboot running and it wants to be loaded at 0x87f00000. The problem is that if I try to do a load anywhere above 64MB it gives me an error. If I load it low (0x81000000) and then try to do a mem-copy it crashes Lolo with an exception. Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug that needs immediate attention Thank you.

1 Replies and 1270 Views COM1 under WinCE  1270  1 Started by  esaavedra Hi, I'm currently trying to get the COM1 port working on the WinCE image using the NK.BIN (using the terminal app). But I don't get any kind of response. Does anybody knows how can I get a serial app to work Thanks. I'm not sure if the problem relies on the exec command used to run NK.BIN, I have tried with and without the serial debug feature.
