Q: Why are there no series resistors on all of the signals to the DDR memory on the iMX31 LITEKIT

The i.MX31 LITEKIT excludes the series resistors on the DDR interface for these reasons:
• Freescale testing on the IMX31 ADS kit found that series resistors provided little to no signal integrity improvement on DDR lines.
• Low power (mobile) DDR has drive strength control on chip.

No, the SOM does not have ESD protection.
The reason for this is that the SOM was designed to be adaptable to many different applications, which makes it impractical to design in ESD protection. The SOM does not provide any ESD protection circuitry on the board and must be provided by the product it is used in. Logic PD has extensive experience in designing products with ESD requirements.

The Windows CE 5.0 images we provide on the web do not properly display dialog boxes for landscape and widescreen PSP-style 480x272 resolution displays. The web images use the Quarter VGA Portrait resources, which assume a display at 320 pixels tall.
