I have just received Zoom board and did all steps mentioned in documents to start with. I have connected serial cable, USB cable and power supply (Battery is fully charged). I am not able to see anything on minicom. I have created SD card image with MLO and u-boot but not able to get anything on terminal. I am using 2GB SD card. Any pointer or document describes how to get your new Zoom board ready for development would be helpful.

    Some more investigation:

Did some more investigation and tried booting through serial port. I found that when i connect Zoom board with PC using USB cable, nothing comes out at serial port. I used serial-boot.pl to load x-loader but first of all that script does not check any valid 58 byte magic number to detect the board. Due to that if I am getting junk data on my serial port then still that script will say board detected. And after that loading u-boot via Kermit doesn't work since the basic problem is that serial port is continuously throwing junk data.
It seems initial code to bring up the board is corrupted. Any hint on how to burn that code on Zoom?

    bkrawal,

If you have registered your kit on our web site, you will have access to several documents that should help you. It sounds like you have done this already.

Did you check the polarity on the serial port cable?
Do you see any LEDs light up when you plug in the battery?

If you have registered your kit you can also use the Ask A Question form on our Support page to ask startup type questions.
    Thanks
