Issues with LogicLoader 2904 2
Started by Alexander Duh
I'm using the lolo 2.3.11 to bootup a PXA270-10, -11, and my machine hardware fails to detect a sync pulse. When I was using an older lolo (2.0.5) on the PXA270-10 there was no such issue. What changed with the implementation that would cause this, and how can I compensate for these changes
Thanks,
Alex

Interfacing new displays 2461 1
Started by Deleted User
We've tried to make it as straight-forward as possible to interface new displays to our products. LogicLoader 2.x has some new features to allow for this.
If you are looking to interface a display, this document should help you along the process. You will need to be up to speed on how the specific LCD controller operates and how the adjustments to its registers affect the display timing.

LogicLoader - current unsupported display kit values 2434 1
Started by Deleted User
The release of LogicLoader 2.0.2 and earlier did not include display modes for several of our display kits. (12.1', 3.5', 5.7') To see the supported modes, use:
losh> help video-open
Until we release a version of LogicLoader with these modes, you can use the following commands to set up modes in the configuration block in LogicLoader. This will allow you to use the video-open, draw-test, and bitmap commands.
Instructions:
The following command should be run once on your board to create t...

can not load image from platform builder 5.0 2382 6
Started by ddsoft
When loading my NK.BIN image from compact flash I get the error:
error: load: address space does not fit in ram (0xbf4648 bytes at 0x80100000)
Now originally I thought the image was too big but it is smaller than the show image I downloaded off the site and got running. When I look at the memory docs it seems to show the address it is trying to load to is in protected space. Why would it be trying to load there Is it because I am using the MAINSTONEII BSPs and not the LogicPD specific ones

CompactFlash interface 2864 2
Started by Deleted User
It would seem as if the PXA270-10 Zoom SDK does not take advantage of the PXA270 CF interface - rather, it decodes the CF at address 0x14000000 .
Unfortunately, little else is documented wrt CF interface, making custom access a non-attractive task....
I would appreciate further details on CF interface.
Many thanks in advance.

Platform Builder's Remote Registry Editor failure... 2767 2
Started by Deleted User
I'm using the DEV NK.bin image. I am not able to use any of Platform Builder's remote tools with this image. All failures report "The CESH Server
for Windows CE reported the following error: Unable to establish a connection with the device."
It would really help development if this worked. Can the Dev NK.bin image be fixed to support this
Thanks
Brad

New Boot Loader 2332 3

I am interested in experimenting with using eboot on our logic PXA dev board to boot into Windows CE. I will be referencing the MDSN article 'How to Develop a Boot Loader'.
I have a JTAG programmer. What caveats should I be aware of before doing this Are there any non-standard StartUp initialization functions related to this module that I need to be aware of
When I want to go back to Logic Loader, can you supply me with JTAG ready files I don't see any available in the downloads section.

problems - Building flash and/or relocatable images. 2403 7
Started by dhayes
I saw a similiar post on another forum (which was missp-posted). I have repeated my reply to this forum as well.
I can build NK.BIN for RAM and it works just fine.
If I build NK.BIN as a FLASH image (for XIP) and burn it, executing
exec 0x00101000-rtc:rtc_pxa270:dbg_serial:PXA270_FFUART:disp_num:8
causes 1 of 2 things:
1.) If the target has not been reset after 'load' and 'burn', it echos the boot string and hangs up.
2.) If I reset the target I get the error message:
error: exec: ...

hooking exception vectors 2596 1
Started by Deleted User
Hi,
I am trying to set up my own IRQ handler - but it seems as if I lack vital LogicLoader info.
It would seem as if LogicLoader relocates exceptions high (0xffff0000). IRQ is routed to 0xa00006c0. However, when I try to chain through this address, it never gets to my ISR.
Having checjed further, I am pretty sure a Timer OS is generating the proper interrupt.
So:
- How do I chain exception vectors
- Is there any further technical documentation regarding the lower-working of LogicLoader

Rebooting 2387 1
Started by dhayes
Any estimate of when the BSP will support soft rebooting of the device
ie: KernelIoControl(HAL_REBOOT, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0);
It is my understanding is that Lolo is already set up to support this.
