We have a shipping product based on the Logic PD AM3517 SOM module (SOMAM3517-10-1780RJCR) which your datasheet describes as a commercial temperature rated device. (70 degrees C max). How do do you characterize that ambient with respect to air temperature at what distance and with what sort of flow Does this assume any airflow (is there an on-module temperature sensor I could reference) Is there a MAX "case temperature" spec for the processor that I might reference so that I might t...

AM3517 EVM - NAND flash programming from UBOOT 3945 1

Hi
I followed section 4 (SD card method) of AM3517 SOM M2 programming for End-Product Manufacturing (Application note 539) to program images on to NAND memory and boot from NAND. AM3517 boot from SD card and programs images on to NAND flash without any error but AM3517 fails to load kernel from NAND flash when I change boot switch configuration to boot from NAND flash and power cycle.
After power cycle AM3517 boots up from NAND and executes UBOOT correctly but fails to to load kernel. ...

Dear LogicPD Team,
I was looking at the below page:

I looked in different SW packages like BSL but I am not able to spot the GEL file used by CCS to initialize the AM3517.
Do you know where to find it

Q: I have three modules in my possession that I have been testing, with part numbers SOMAM3517-10-1780FJCR-A (1016307), SOMAM3517-10-1780FJCR-C (1020547), and SOMAM3517-10-1780FJCR-D (1022935). I have gotten filesystem errors with C and D, but not A. I noticed in your PCN that the NAND flash had changed from rev A to B.
A: On the revisions with 4bit ECC NAND, update the NAND drivers to use OMAP_ECC_BCH4_CODE_HW
Here is the patch to make the change:

I need to build with optimization disabled for some debugging. When I attempt to build with the ENABLE_OPTIMIZER build option set to 0 I get compilation errors.

Hello.
I am a technical support engineer at a distributor of TI in Japan.
Our customer is using the Windows Embedded Compact 7 on the AM3517EVM.
They want to stop the external clock by controlling the SYS_CLKREQ while suspending the windows system and require to return from suspending by touching the touch panel.
I cannot confirm it by myself because I do not have the AM3517EVM.
